Bermuda Vs Sri Lanka, Group B

First things first, Sri Lanka demolished Bermuda in their group match. We did not think Bermuda could beat Sri Lanka but we were interested in seeing how Bermuda would lose. They lost pretty badly. Sri Lanka piled on 321 runs and then scuttled Bermuda for 78.

We were very interested in this match since India belongs to this group. Some observations:

1. Bermuda allowed Mahela Jayawardene to bat himself into some form. Now, when India plays Sri Lanka, we have to worry about the top 5 Lankan batsman. All of them are in good form and that sucks.

2. Dwyane Leverock got manhandled today. He dropped 2 catches, made 1 run, and generally got hammered all around the ground for 67 runs. We feel bad for him. Hope he shrugs it off and bowls well in the next match (Yes, we know Bermuda plays India in their next match)

3. Muralitharan got hammered around the ground too. Relatively speaking. Does that mean that the ground (Queen's Park Oval, Trinidad) is not helping the spinners? Or that Murali just bowled badly? Are we clutching at straws here? Yes, we are.

4. We are convinced that even if India has a bad day, they can beat Bermuda. Bangladesh should have no problem beating Bermuda.
